The Porsche Wears Carbon Fibre; TopCar Gives A 992 Porsche A Chocolate Brown Makeover

Brown isn’t a typical colour choice for luxury automobiles, with most sports car manufacturers sticking with the tried-and-tested hues of black, red, or British racing green. However, custom car tuner TopCar has proven brown hues needn’t be relegated to vintage station wagons and muscle cars. The Russia-based team has decked out a Porsche 992 Turbo S in brown carbon fibre, making for a vehicle that’s equal parts rugged and luxurious.

TopCar wrapped each individual panel in a chocolate brown carbon fibre weave, with the car comprising 84 separate carbon fibre parts each with a total of four layers of carbon fibre, costing a total of €125,000 ($197000 AUD). While the lights and glasshouse remain unchanged, every other element has been modified with highlights including a brown camouflage pattern on the inside of the boot, custom forged rims on the tyres, and brown brake callipers. Defying traditional colour combining rules, TopCar somehow manages to make black and brown work together, with the Porsche 992 Turbo S featuring touches of black carbon fibre.

The Russian custom tuner retained the engine of the Porsche 992 Turbo S, but reworked the interior in black and brown leather and updated the sound and performance of the car with the addition of a Kline Innovation exhaust system.
