Coinciding with the five-year anniversary of the brand, Wardrobe.NYC has collaborated with model and entrepreneur Hailey Bieber on a range of elevated essentials. The collection is in line with Bieber’s signature streetwear style — which is laden with oversized blazers, tailored suiting, and neutral hues — while staying true to the Wardrobe.NYC design codes.
“I was drawn to WARDROBE.NYC because I’ve always loved building my own wardrobe based on the perfect essential pieces,” said Bieber of the collaboration. The capsule sees Beiber, Goot, and Centenera build a wardrobe of cool weather essentials, with each of the ten pieces engineered to reflect Bieber’s vision.
Tailoring takes centre stage, with the HB Blazer and HB Coat intended to be worn oversize, with strong shoulders and silhouettes that sit apart from the body. Designed to be worn low, the HB Trouser features wide pleated legs that taper at the ankle, while the HB Legging receives an update in the form of a tailored waistband with zip fly closure and split hem detail. There’s a knitted black body-con, one-shoulder HB Mini Dress and a woollen HB Knit, while the oversized cotton fleece HB Track Top and HB Track Pant cater to cosy, comfy days. The collection is underpinned by cotton essentials; the HB Long Sleeve Tee and HB Ribbed Tank.
“We were able to play with proportions and mix tailoring back with casual pieces and streetwear which keeps it all modern,” said Beiber. Styled by co-founder Christine Centenera, the campaign for Hailey Bieber x Wardrobe.NYC (naturally) features Hailey Beiber showcasing how the practical collection can be worn.
While all items can be purchased separately, the collection is also offered in four-piece and eight-piece packs. The former is priced at $2650AUD and includes the HB Blazer, HB Mini Dress, HB Long Sleeve Tee, and choice of HB Trouser or HB Legging. The eight-piece costs $5700 and adds the HB Coat, HB Track Top, HB Track Pant, and HB Ribbed Tank into the mix.
