A homage to the storied legacy of rugby, the Rodd & Gunn x Gilbert collaborative capsule collection comprises menswear and accessories, with highlights including essential winter jackets, printed sweatshirts, cotton-blend knitwear, polo shirts, pleated trousers, and, of course, rugby shirts. Each piece in the collection is named after rugby stadiums across the UK and New Zealand.

A bespoke emblem designed specifically for the collection is found throughout the collection, emblazoned across the Lansdowne Road Sweater, which derives its name from the rugby stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Rounding out the collection is a series of pieces designed with weekend sports trips in mind, including rugby duffle bags, stadium scarves, and sneakers.

Founded in 1923, Gilbert is celebrating two centuries of being a go-to supplier of quality rugby balls. Naturally, the Rodd & Gunn x Gilbert collection features a co-branded rugby ball.
“We’re excited to partner with Gilbert Rugby for our inaugural collaboration, the alignment is authentic to our brand and what we strive for in our products,” said Mike Beagley, CEO of Rodd & Gunn. “We’ve kept this collection true to our brand, keeping in mind the rich heritage and sporting nature of Gilbert ensuring it appeals to rugby enthusiasts on and off the field.”
The collection is now available to shop via the Rodd & Gunn webstore and in select David Jones stores across Australia.
