A Family Affair With Tod’s & Chiara Ferragni

Following her appointment to the Tod’s Board of Directors last year, Italian blogger and entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni has now collaborated with the Italian luxury house on a project entitled ‘Tod’s Generations’.

Joined by her mother Marina and sisters Valentina and Francesca, Ferragni and her family “perfectly encapsulate the fundamental values of the Italian lifestyle for the new generations,” according to a press release from Tod’s. The Tod’s signature Gommino driving shoes, identifiable by their rubber-studded soles, take centre stage in this story that documents the day-to-day lives of two generations of women.

Set in an Italian villa on Lake Como, Ferragni and her family sport both the Gommino shoes and the Tod’s Bow bag, which also features rubber studs. “The Gommino is one of the icons of Italian taste, I remember it from my childhood and I like the idea that it is a timeless classic, handed over from generation to generation,” said Chiara Ferragni. Both Tod’s and Ferragni have marked the occasion with a donation to Bambini delle Fate, a not-for-profit organisation that supports education for families with autistic children and other disabilities.
