Hublot is no stranger to colour, having been setting its watches in rainbow hues since 2017, releasing the impressive Big Bang Unico Full Baguette King Gold Rainbow featuring 290 baguette-cut gemstones late last year. Now, the Hublot Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Rainbow takes the Swiss watch manufacturer’s flair for vibrant tones to the next level, incorporating all seven colours of the rainbow into a singular timepiece.

Available in king gold or white gold iterations, both Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Rainbow combines Hublot’s signature porthole face with the integrated bracelet introduced last year, creating a striking all-over visual effect. Totalling almost 36 carats, the timepieces featured 484 invisibly set baguette-cut stones, with each of the seven types reflecting the visible colours of the spectrum; red rubies, fuchsia pink sapphires, ultraviolet amethysts, Klein blue topaz, leaf green tsavorites, lemon yellow sapphires, and bright orange sapphires. Both the king gold and white gold timepieces are crafted in the same dimensions, with baguette-cut stones lining the entirety of the 43mm case. According to Hublot, the process of selecting, cutting, and setting the gemstones represents an investment of over 1200 hours of labour.
Not merely a pretty face (and bezel and bracelet), the Hublot Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Rainbow is built around an in-house mechanical movement, displayed through a sapphire glass caseback. A self-winding tourbillon features at 6 o’clock and appears to be floating thanks to the use of transparent sapphire bridges.
Naturally, a timepiece like this comes at a cost, with pricing starting at $790,000USD.
