Swiss luxury watchmaker Longines is marking 190 years in horology. Founded in Saint-Imier, Switzerland in 1832, Longines is known for its classically elegant designs as well as its inextricable ties to equestrian sports. To celebrate almost two centuries of merging technical innovation with refined aesthetics, Longines has released three exclusive timepieces.

Sitting within the Master Collection, a line that reflects its rich heritage, the trio of new Longines watches are crafted from stainless steel, yellow gold, and rose gold. Both gold iterations are limited to just 190 numbered pieces. Each of the trio takes on a similar form; a 40mm round case is defined by classic lines and houses a high-precision Longines exclusive Calibre L888.5 movement with a silicon balance spring.
The dials are either sandblasted silver, brushed grey, or grained anthracite — for the stainless steel, yellow gold, and rose gold respectively — and play host to delicate Breguet Arabic numerals. Feuille hour and minute hands contribute to the refined purity of the dial, which boasts a streamlined yet traditional aesthetic. Each watch is complemented by an anthracite grey leather strap.
Free from bells, whistles, and complications, the new Longines Master Collection releases work to celebrate the brand’s rich history and heritage craftsmanship simply by telling the time. In style, of course.
