For TAG Heuer, LVMH Watch Week 2025 provides the ideal opportunity for the luxury watch brand to assert its prestige in the automotive timekeeping space and remind the public of its indelible mark on the motorsports world. It’s not all drive to survive on the wrist though, with some dressy new additions to the Carrera lineup.

Herewith, every TAG Heuer release from LVMH Watch Week 2025.

TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph

First launched in 1986, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 represented the platonic ideal of a starter watch for future horologists and motorsport enthusiasts at the time. Cheap and cheerful, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 was a quartz composite watch on a rubber strap, with its knurled bezel and funky colour combinations differentiating them from the masses.

Now, TAG Heuer has bestowed the Formula 1 lineup with some premium flair, retaining its racing heritage while giving it a more dynamic appearance and adding a chronograph function. The updated case profile features a swooped profile that resembles the nose of an F1 car; from the side it looks like two cars are standing nose-to-nose. The bezel features micro-perforations which nod to the brake discs on sports cars, while the contoured pushers contribute a tactile, mechanical feel. The newcomers are all chronographs, with this information displayed via a vertically oriented tricompax dial layout.

The material palette also receives a significant upgrade, with the revamped TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph trading composite plastic for lightweight titanium. There are five new variations in the TAG Heuer Formula 1 lineup, each boasting a unique colourway and some seeing the titanium finished with a black DLC coating. Each of the timepieces features an aluminium tachymeter bezel, encircled by a statement coloured ring that sits between the case and bezel. The colours extend to lacquered detailing on the crown, as well as the seconds hand and chronograph counters.

Among the quintet of chronographs are two timepieces created in collaboration with Oracle Red Bull Racing. There’s a black DLC-treated case with a black opaline dial and red details and an uncoated titanium case with a blue dial that features the checkered pattern synonymous with the grid.

TAG Heuer Carrera Date

LVMH Watch Week 2025 sees TAG Heuer add a duo of new shades to its Carrera Date collection. The newcomers see the 36mm automatic timepiece take on a soft, feminine palette courtesy of two pastel hues: power pink and lilac. The specifications of both watches remain unchanged from previous models in the Carrera Date lineup, however each boasts a unique dial finish. The powder pink version has a sunray brushed dial while the lilac variant employs a lesser-seen snailed finish. Both timepieces feature diamond hour markers, a date window at 12 o’clock, and are presented on a three-link bracelet with brushed and polished links. The Carrera Date is powered by the automatic Calibre 7.

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph

Continuing the theme of attempting to appeal to the female demographic with diamonds and pastel hues, TAG Heuer has added two new references to its Carrera Chronograph. First unveiled in 2023, TAG Heuer’s glassbox design has become a fast favourite, with its bezel-less design featuring a domed sapphire crystal that extends over the flange, creating smooth, unbroken lines and an overall more elegant visual. Here, the signature domed sapphire crystal is used to accentuate the diamond-set flange, which encircles a minutes track with diamond hour markers.

The new variants of the Carrera Chronograph come with either a powder pink or signature Carrera blue dial, both of which feature a circular brushed finish and snailed subdial counters. The pink timepiece is presented on a colour-matched calfskin leather strap while the blue iteration is accompanied by a blue alligator leather strap.

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye

When it comes to motorsport legacies, TAG Heuer and Porsche are akin to twin souls. The Swiss luxury watch brand and the German marque share parallel legacies, one of the key ones being the launch of the (pre-TAG era) Heuer Carrera and the Porsche 901 (what’s now known as the 911) in 1963, with the duo celebrating the shared 60th anniversaries of both these icons in 2023 with the TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronosprint.

Now, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint is back to mark another shared moment, the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. The Monte Carlo Rally saw Porsche’s newly introduced 911 make its competitive debut, with the chosen vehicle bearing the starting number ‘147’. A lightly modified road car, 147 performed above expectations, finishing fifth overall and second in its class. The timekeeping instruments on the dashboard of the car? Well, they were by none other than Heuer, of course.

The new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye celebrates this time in history. It’s powered by the calibre TH20-08—an in-house movement with an 80-hour power reserve—with the chronograph module of the movement unique to the Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye. Designed to reflect the Porsche 911’s stomach-dropping acceleration, when the chronograph function is activated, the central seconds hand completes the first 15 seconds of every stopped minute at an accelerated pace before slowing down to complete the full 360° revolution in a minute. The movement features a rotor shaped like a Porsche steering wheel, visible through the exhibition caseback.

The design of the watch takes on a retro-modern aesthetic, looking to the designs of Heuer dashboard timers and early Porsche dashboards. Beige markings on the dial reference the original Porsche 911’s steering wheel, while the shimmering finish of the dial is reminiscent of the bodywork of Porsche cars. The red lines on the right side of the flange reflect the 1965 Porsche 911 147’s achievement of 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, marking an improvement on the 1963 Porsche 901’s time of 9.1 seconds.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye is available in steel and gold. The steel version is presented on a H-shaped bracelet and comes with an additional black perforated leather strap with beige stitching, while the gold iteration comes on a black perforated leather strap with beige stitching and is accompanied by an additional light brown perforated leather strap. The gold TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye is limited to 11 examples.

Price: $10,000CHF (steel); $24,000CHF (gold)

Water resistance: 10ATM
Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date, chronograph

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph

Here, the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph sees the glassbox design executed with a fun new dial colour — dark purple. The dial features a nuanced smoky black-to-purple gradient effect with a sunbrushed finish on the purple element. The same dial colour can be found on the Monaco Chronograph introduced in 2022.

The purple gradient dial is complemented by snailed black chronograph counters and rhodium-plated hour markers with silver accents. Aside from the new hue, the specifications of the newcomer remain the same as other members of the Carrera Chronograph family.

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon is exactly the same as the timepiece above in terms of aesthetic and finishes, but drops the date window and adds a tourbillon into the mix. Due to the addition of the regulatory mechanism, it also has a larger case size of 42mm.
