Every Tudor Release From Watches & Wonders 2025

Would you like a Rolex, darling? Yes? Well, how about a Tudor instead? Tudor has long emerged from the shadows of older brother Rolex, however for Watches & Wonders 2025 it inches back into the darkness just the tiniest bit to drop a bright new Black Bay Pro that looks like it’s ready to jump on the—Explorer II—Polar express. Elsewhere, the it girl colour of the season has made its way onto the dial of the eminently wearable Black Bay 58 and big wrists are catered for with the new Black Bay 68.

Here, we’ve put together all the Tudor releases from Watches & Wonders 2025.

Black Bay 58

A mainstay in the Tudor lineup, the Black Bay 58 is an undeniable crowd favourite amongst seasoned watch collectors and one-and-done watch guys alike. Inspired by a prototype Tudor Submariner ref. 79190 from the 1990s and named after the year when the first Tudor Submariner dive watch (the ref. 7924) waterproof to 200 metres was introduced (1958), the contemporary Black Bay 58 is beloved for its wearable 39mm proportions and undeniable GADA potential. Before we get onto the dial, a quick note on what’s beneath it.

For Watches & Wonders 2025, Tudor has given the Black Bay 58 a pretty serious technical upgrade, with the timepiece powered by the manufacture calibre MT5400-U and accompanied by METAS Master Chronometer certification, which puts the main functional characteristics of a watch—including precision, resistance to magnetic fields, waterproofness, and power reserve—through rigorous independent testing and ensures they’re functioning at a high standard. To qualify for METAS certification, the movement must function within a five-second range of variation each day (0/+5), which is five seconds less than Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) cerification, which allows for a variance of -4/+6.

But now onto the dial. Retaining its 39mm case and streamlined proportions, the Tudor Black Bay 58 receives a redesigned crown and flush crown tube to further improve ergonomics. Here, it gets a fresh new outfit, with its radially brushed satin dial and aluminium bezel bathed in burgundy. While Tudor has termed the colour burgundy, it reads more cherry red to us; either way, it’s a more versatile hue than the previous stark red options, working well within casual and smart casual occasions.

The Tudor Black Bay 58 is available on a rubber strap and the standard flat-link bracelet, as well as—for the first time in the model’s history—on the new five-link Jubilee style bracelet released last year.

It’s powered by the automatic calibre MT5612-U, which is Master Chronometer certified by METAS and COSC certified. The 43mm case size of the Pelagos Ultra represents a jump up in size from its standard Pelagos (no ‘Ultra’) stablemates, which come in 39mm and 42mm cases and offer a more-than-respectable 500 metres of water resistance.

Black Bay 68

The big boy has arrived. In line with our watch trend predictions for the year, Tudor is embracing dichotomous case sizing across its line. While the Black Bay 54 released two years ago tapped into the trend towards smaller watches, Tudor is proving there’s a Black Bay for every wrist with the new Black Bay 68. With a 43mm case size and a METAS chronometer certified MT5601-U automatic movement, it poses a viable daily drivers for those large of wrist. The moniker references the year Tudor conceived its snowflake hands, a design detail that’s gone on to become a calling card for the brand. While the snowflake hands officially entered the catalogue the following year in1969, we’re sure the immature among us (read: us) would have something to say about a Black Bay 69, so we approve of the chosen nomenclature.

The new Tudor Black Bay 68 comes is available with a brushed blue or silver dial and presented on a flat three-link bracelet with a T-fit rapid adjustment clasp.

Black Bay Pro

“Uh, isn’t that the—” Yes. It looks like a Rolex Explorer II ‘Polar’ with snowflake hands. And we love it all the same. Retaining the same specs as the preexisting Black Bay Pro, Tudor has swapped the black dial for a white opaline dial, further enhancing the similarities between this model and that of its older brother. The 39mm case, fixed steel bezel, GMT function with a 24-hour snowflake hand remain the same, but the white opaline dial makes things pop and improves legibility when coupled with ceramic hour markers and hands outlined in black. It’s powered by the automatic calibre MT5652, a COSC-certified movement with a 70-hour power reserve and comes on either a riveted steel bracelet with T-fit clasp, woven black Jacquard fabric strap with a yellow accent, or a black hybrid strap in rubber and leather.

Black Bay Chrono

Panda! Black-and-white (and white-and-black) chronographs are never not going to be popular. For Watches & Wonders 2025, Tudor has released its Black Bay Chrono with Panda and Reverse Panda dials. Inspired by the first generation of Tudor chronographs, the Black Bay Chrono has a 41mm stainless steel case with three oversized pushers and a bicompax subdial layout with a vintage style 45-minute counter.
