Jardan Wants To Make Office Furniture Fun Again

Doing away with staid notions of what office furniture should look like, Jardan has released ‘Colourscapes’, a playful take on commercial furniture. Known for its premium yet playful aesthetic, Australian furniture and lighting designer Jardan explores colour, tactility, and form in Colourscapes, with the collection designed to foster creativity in offices, studies, and hospitality venues alike.

Fabrics and finishes take centre stage in Colourscapes, with the collection defined by its unconventional use of hues. Jardan worked with leading textile company Kvadrat Maharam, to create a high-quality commercial fabric offering that has been curated to complement the aesthetic and concept of the collection. In addition to upholstery options, four new powdercoat colours have been introduced, with Moss, Mustard, Reef, and Twilight joining the current lineup.

The Colourscapes comprises two chairs and three tables. Taking on an essentialist approach, the Raf chair is fully customisable, with several base, arm, and seat pad configurations in addition to endless colour and fabric options. Meanwhile, the Roy chair, designed with meetings in mind, takes on a familiar utilitarian silhouette that prioritises comfort and can be dressed up or down depending on fabric selection. Arrow and Bass are customisable pedestal tables, each with its own distinct character, while Wilbur can serve as a meeting table or work from home desk.

The Colourscapes collection is available via the Jardan webstore and in the brand’s Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth showrooms.
