Vacheron Constantin releases a grandiose skeletonised grand complication

- Vacheron Constantin continues its reign of being the holiest of the holy trinity this year, with another grand complication timepiece
- The Vacheron Constantin Les Cabinotiers Temporis Duo Grand Complication Openface features a tourbillon, minute repeater, and rattrapante chronograph as well as traditional time telling displays and a power reserve indicator
- The timepiece is housed within a 45mm rose gold case and powered by the manually wound calibre 2757 S, with the skeletonised dial, putting the over 700 components of the calibre 2757 S on full display
- The combination of minute repeater and rattrapante functions with a tourbillon regulatory mechanism is a rare one, due to its difficulty to execute
- “More usually, in grand complication wristwatches, we see minute repeaters associated with perpetual calendars,” says Christian Selmoni, style and heritage director at Vacheron Constantin. “That configuration certainly requires a great deal of expertise but the chronograph, with its clutch and column-wheel system, which on this piece is duplicated for the rattrapante, is an even bigger issue in terms of miniaturisation.”

Case size: 45mm
Movement: 2757 S (manually winding)
